I’m from Big 4 and exiting to either another smaller firm with 10% bump or industry job as Internal Auditor/SOX compliance role. Most of the industry jobs I’ve been interviewed requires RTO (4-5days). Would like to get your thoughts on whether moving to industry with WLB but giving-up the WFH set-up in a public acctg firm is a good choice? If anyone can share their experiences on transitioning to industry with RTO or someone who remained in Public acctg for flexibility, that would be great!

Which is the more lucrative and flexible long term career path when comparing .NET development vs salesforce development.

By flexible I mean in terms of moving between positions, companies and technologies.

I've done both and am currently doing salesforce development but don't want to get pigeonholed.

Does anyone have any advice for a junior C++ engineer. Or do companies generally don't hire a specific language. You just have to take on whatever code work is available. Are you specifically hired for a particular tech in your company? Or most of the time you just end up not doing it at all?

I think I did a mistake , I tried applying for companies and dont get any calls, got two calls but both of them rejected even before taking an interview that they want immediate joiners , market was ok so I resigned and the hiring got freezed its been 45 days since , but I still dont have an offer dint just got two interviews till now I am trying to get referals , applying in naukri, LinkedIn getting referrals from fish bowl everyday and I am scared now hope I get atleast one offer😔😔
