Isn’t that like on the road 1 to 3 weeks a month? Besides the frequency itself, you should find out how travel arrangements, expenses and hours will be covered. How will lodging and meals be paid, if travel hours be paid, ticket class, etc.
Have them define what travel means usually you can break it up in a month how many weeks you have to travel. But you would want them to also clearly define the expectations of travel. Are you leaving on Sunday or Monday? Are you getting back Thursday evening or Friday afternoon. As you get up in a company you can find yourself traveling a lot more.

Normal. I was 100% pre covid. Meant weekly travel expectation but reality varied.
It can vary. Ask during screening process or during interviews. Also for travel especially if hotel stays involved, see what their policies are. Some places require shared rooms which is a big no for me others do not. I'd worked out a deal when I traveled nearly 100% where I had to be in the facility by noon on Monday and say till end of business or first shift on Thursday and allowed to fly out Friday morning. Per diem is also important some are way too low. So if it is a ton of travel get all the facts before you accept
