Over the last few years I’ve allowed myself to gain 40 pounds. I often feel uncomfortable and unattractive in my own body, and I fear that the extra weight puts me at greater risk if I were to catch Covid (though I am vaccinated). Despite all this, I struggle to find the motivation to change. I have lost weight before, but it all came creeping back. I feel very cynical about trying to lose it again. I guess I am just not unhappy enough to try again. Has anyone been in the same boat? 

Been living with my parents for a year to save money. We Get along well and have few issues. However I feel like I am not enjoying my 20s because I don’t want to put my parents at risk (I am responsible with covid, barely go out). Do you think it is worth it to move out and pay rent even though things are not normal anymore or should I just stay and save and invest knowing things go back to normal soon?

My previous manager would track us by hours daily, made a fuss everytime anything stretched and guilt us for that and the unplanned leave too unless it was COVID. Hinted him a lot of time, this is problematic but apparently he considered it "standard practice for agile".

Now 8/10 teammates have switched within < 1 year of project start (6-7 months with him) which tbh had good work in our opinion and even team was fun to work with even though none of us ever met in person.

The break up must’ve been like a 4-5 minute FaceTime because I was very distraught. Practice has been growing rapidly but I’ve been in a rut as a few projects went on ice due to COVID, and have been swinging and missing on BD. So… 3.5 year relationship came crashing in Jan due to covid depression, work burn out, lockdown etc. We have stayed in contact and recently he has come around to apologizing and considering getting back together. I have 3 YoE and would be moving from engineering. the HR person asked me what my salary expectations were I was caught offguard and said I would expect it to be at least what I make now (around 100k). Im now worried theyll lowball me because I really shouldve asked for 120+bonus (I think this is market rate?) But they have salary bands they follow right?So if they pay consultants 140 usually would they offer me 100k?

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages.
