My department is so burnt out from all the drama we deal with, we have an unspoken rule to not really talk about our personal lives. Everybody is friendly, but nobody is really friends. It keeps the drama to a minimum and our personal lives to ourselves. I kind of love it, to be honest.

Yes I get that, has its divided opinions but with certain personalities in the office it can be that they’re just people at work not outside of work real friends.
Be careful and watch out given the politics!

This is a really interesting question thats got me thinking. The first thing that comes to mind is that I make all hot drinks and roughly the same time. I am a tea fiend so I dont mind because that way I know I can have a drink as often as i want and I know it will be a descent one.
I feel like I might think of others and comment again later.

Is it all on your shoulders that you make the drinks and no one else offers? As it’s always nice to be offered and not made to look like “your job”.
