I'm looking at January as a setup to the rest of 2026. I’m starting conversations, rebuilding momentum, and setting expectations early. This feels more likely to yield results in my overall 2026 goals.
Do you use January to push hard and set the tone for the year or coast until after year-end evaluations and bonuses are paid?

What are you finding is the best way to rebuild momentum? I’m trying to use this month as a springboard for the rest of the year as well, and I’m really curious to hear what others are doing to set themselves up for success.

This sounds like a Linked In rah, rah post. I just go to work and do my job. Seems to work well for me.

Hi Fishes,
I cleared LTI all rounds and in HR discussion we came on mutual agreement for 16lpa .I have 7 years of experience and they gave me Specialist - Data Engineering(P3) role. And we agreed I will join with after 60 as I had to serve 60 days notice period. I was waiting for offer letter and when I received the offer letter I was shocked to see that CTC mentioned was 14LPA and joining date was only 15days from now ,which is way early.

I have an interview tomorrow with a recruiter who contacted me through LinkedIn. I believe I am way under-qualified for the position and I pointed that out to her, but she responded with several points from my resume as to why she believes the role is a good fit with my experience. It would be a leap, but maybe I need to take it as a challenge and not limit myself? I just don’t want to get in over my head and fall flat on my face. What are some questions I could ask during the first interview?

I received an offer as Senior QA Engineer in Coforge. The offer mentions a hike of 30℅ from my current salary, no joining bonus and I'm assigned to band 3. There is also a mention of the probation period of 6 months. Can this be considered a good offer?
