How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.

Bain & Company I received an offer to join Bain & Company for SF office but due to family reasons, I will have to stay in the South Bay. Given Bain’s local staffing model, it will be challenging for me to commute to SF and back. Is it possible to be transferred to the palo alto office/is that office fully functioning or does it mainly serve as a hub for partners and research?

Don’t focus too much on salary. You will get lifetime’s worth of benefits structure.
I’ve heard of experienced hires getting 15-25k sign on bonuses for C and PL levels. Base is 100% non negotiable
Base salary isn’t negotiable. Tenure is. I never got a sign on bonus but got a moving bonus
There’s also small pay bumps / differences in bonus between 1st and 2nd years for a given role title
Base salary isn’t negotiable, it’s set. From what I’ve heard for experience hires, the sign-on bonus range is like max 5k.
Sign on is negotiable. You’ll have the most success if you can articulate a specific why such as walking away from a bonus at you old job
