Quick qstn - I'm receiving HRA of 24075 from my employer but I would like dhow the rent paid as 96k p.a (while filing ITR). Even if I do so, I was only able to get exemption of 24075 from gross. Checking if we can speak to payroll department to increase Actual HRA since I'm actually paying more rent than compared. Will I be able to do so ?Deloitte Newco EY Accenture Genpact KPMG

It probably is too soon, but it is never too soon to make sure you are keeping track of everything you are doing. Take the time now to lay the groundwork for yourself and see how much you are accomplishing.
I think just having a call with your manager as a check in to discuss the progression and success of your projects, and your role within that. Followed by a discussion around your roles across that and saying that your happy to do it but in the near term and upcoming months will be looking for a progression to reflect your contribution in alignment with the market.
6 months does seem a bit too soon. If I can offer a piece of advice. Start a document, title it “benchmark achievements” and at the end of each week summarize what you accomplished, what new tasks you took on, how you have benefited the company. When you have your first review ( hopefully at your year mark) you are now armed with a huge list of and all information to negotiate at large raise and possible title change. Know what you want. Be kind, but clear. It this is a good company they will understand your value. This also really comes in handy if your boss changes or if the company restructures. No one will advocate for you better than you. Know your worth, be humble.

I think it’s probably too soon. Maybe you can frame it as asking for their input on prioritization so you can take things off your plate in the short term?
