Just curious- do account people or strategy people make more money at the same level? Or does one just make more than another at a certain point?

In today’s market, for NYC, what salary ranges are paid for Underwriters at AVP and/or VP level? 10 years reinsurance experience with 4 years in actual underwriting. Multiple designations.

Anyone have any affordable case management software recommendations? I’m looking for something a bit non-traditional as I work for a small nonprofit. Ideally the software would involve document organization/access as well as like a running “log” for folks to post relevant events or work completed for the file.

Today a pwc India guy offered me 10.2 lpa. My current is 10 and i have an offer of 15lpa. His logic was we are big4. We cannot compare the offers from service based companies. I don't know how such attitude will survive in such a competitive market. He tells me that pwc has a great wlb😂

I’m my partners only associate and I went on parental leave two weeks ago. I feel horrible for leaving him to handle our cases alone, but am trying to focus on my wife and new baby. That being said, should I still offer to handle minor matters that come in to ease the workload off my boss? He’s been super cool during my entire leave, so I don’t feel pressured to one bit.

Hello! I’ve previously only dated white guys. While in quarantine I’ve gone on dil mil and made an effort with brown guys on apps. Help- my FBIL is refusing to rent a tux for our wedding because he already owns one. It is a different tuxedo. We would like everyone in the same tux, which I don’t think is crazy to ask for?
