It depends where I’m going - I usually plan half to 3/4. I like to pack a lot into my trips - so planning helps but usually leave a little room to add stuff.
Also depends where I’m going - is it a place where it’s easy to add stuff or is some place where a lot of stuff will be sold out/can’t get reservations.
Typically, the first step is to plan how to proceed, and the second step is to explore the local food and culture
Cool
I prefer to make a rough plan in advance, such as booking transportation, accommodation, and a few must-see places, and then arrange the rest of the time as I please. This way, I don't feel rushed and can still retain the element of surprise during the trip. For short trips, I think a comfortable pace is more important than the number of places to visit
I usually start by making a rough plan, but I also like to leave some room for spontaneity. Japan and Germany are both great destinations for short trips, and Prague is definitely worth a visit—especially the Old Town and Wenceslas Square, where the atmosphere is truly unique. When it comes to short trips, I think the most important thing is to choose a city with a relaxed pace, great food, and plenty of shopping opportunities
I usually make a rough plan beforehand, but I don't overschedule. I want to leave some room for flexibility once I'm there. Taiwan and Rome are both worth visiting. One is perfect for leisurely dining and exploration; the other has a strong historical feel, and you can enjoy the atmosphere just by wandering around. For short trips, I think the most important thing is a comfortable pace of life in the city
Wow, I think Mount Fuji in Japan and Prague Square in the Czech Republic are pretty nice, you should check them out
I plan and book flights and hotels. Not the detailed itinerary. When I checkin the hotel, ask the front desk for recommendations on things to do and see. Some I already google and plan for, but most of the other things, go with the flow.
Certain things you need to plan (Alhambra in Granada, for example). Other things you don’t need to plan. I plan a pretty detailed itinerary but I know it will change in real time.
