Anyone here from Investment Banking at Houlihan Lokey, Evercore or Lazard in London (UK)? I’m currently working in Corporate Finance M&A in GT UK. I’d want to move to one of these banks next year so would like to know about work culture, teams, opportunities, salaries and bonuses. Appreciate your kind help on this

Depends on what level of MNPI you will have access to. My group has to pre-clear any individual securities transactions (not an ETF purchase, for example) through a portal. There will be a restricted list of companies you aren’t allowed to touch as well.
I don’t mess with crypto, so I’m not sure if you have to disclose that. My guess is no, but not sure.
Truly depends on firm/department. I have friends who need to have every trade cleared with their direct manager prior to engaging (they work at JP Morgan).
My department in particular at Morgan Stanley does not require pre-clearance. Just need to ensure the securities are not on a restricted list.
You should ask your manager.
You should have needed to do this at Wells too.
This is pretty standard. You will go through pre-clearance before you can buy or sell.
