I have this weird question, i was interviewed in a company saying there will be only 1 round followed by HR round for salary discussion. But they conducted 4 rounds and I cleared all the rounds and settled with 7lpa as they couldn't give what I asked (9lpa). It all happened 1 month back and haven't received offer yet. Now 3 days back they scheduled client round and again scheduled one more round tomorrow. Now can I ask more than what they offered since they scheduled these many rounds?

Have worked past 3 years at a buy side HY credit shop. Great role out of school with solid WL balance but proven difficult to transition into some strategic finance roles without banking experience. Have come across a small bank in NYC, spoken to the entire team (all incredibly nice), and seems to provide great access to founders (deals <$100mm) but the banking hours worry me. What parts am I overlooking? Can you truly find a way to move to the city with a banking job and still enjoy your life?
