I’m stuck on whether to boycott my company’s mandatory team bonding retreat in Sligo. What age are you? As of this year here are minimum wage by age:
U18: €9.45/hr
19: €12.15/hr
20 or older: €13.50/hr

Personally I would not go and wouldn't even make excuses. I'd just say I'm not interested. If they threaten to get rid of you over it they'd be doing you a favour in my opinion. But it depends how much you like the gig/if it's remote etc you might not be able to get that elsewhere.

If i could avoid it, I would. Is it in during work hours or are you expected to use your personal time to attend? If it's the former, missing it could be tricky without volunteering to stay back and provide cover. Personally in that scenario I'd go along to the away day and let it go over my head.

Ok, I haven’t done an HSA previously, but considering it for my family during this next open enrollment. What do I need to know about high deductible plans?
