In my year-end review, I was asked where I see myself in five years. It reminded me when Robert De Niro’s character is asked "Where do you see yourself in 10 years?" in The Intern, and he famously retorts, "When I'm 80?"

I wish I had a career vision, but there are so many changes happening at my company. One colleague has had 4 managers in the past 4 years, each with a different team vision. Does anyone else feel like long-term planning is impossible given the current corporate landscape.

I hope my job even exists five years from now. AI is not going anywhere, and is displacing workers. I know phone sales are vanishing quickly as younger consumers, more tech savvy are increasingly taking over.

Hopefully no longer reporting to a bungee manager, sir/ma’am!😎😎😎🤨🤨🤨

With 5 years and 8 month of experience which designation can I expect from Infosys and what is the max salary offered at this designation.
Note- 3 month notice period also needs to serve beyond this 5.8 experience so total experience at the time of joining will be around 6 years.

During initial onboarding with the firm, does the first week or so count towards utilization or is there somewhat of a grace period?

Additional Posts in Insurance

Hello everyone ,
I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?

Hello, I am a junior business administrator working in advisory operations. I have been with the company for 6 months, and was employed along with 2 other colleagues. I have picked the job up really fast and am even doing some “extra curricula’s” I really love my job. However I have recently found out I am being paid the same as an apprentice on my team, I usually do at 3 x the work he does whilst also doing my Cert CII. It has really disheartened me and I feel I should be earning more money

This is my first job in a large corporate company, and I’m trying to gauge how long it normally takes to move from entry level to another internal position in the insurance industry. I have been applying internally for a year now and I am wondering if this is normal or if my company is just slow? I am a top performer, with great metrics, and I have some wonderful connections I’ve made who support me. I just can’t seem to move up. How long did it take you to move up? How many tries did it take?
