In sales, it’s easy to get caught up chasing targets. I’ve learned that setting realistic daily goals and unplugging after hours keeps me sane and motivated.
Follow-ups are everything. A quick, friendly check-in can turn a ‘maybe’ into a ‘yes.’
Stay curious. Trends change daily in marketing, and the best way to stay ahead is to keep learning and experimenting.

That all makes a lot of sense. In my dealings with salespeople what bothers me most is when they start getting aggressive. My assumption is always that they've got pressure to produce, or they're getting greedy and that makes them aggressive. Your point about friendly check-ins is important, I'm sure a lot of sales get thwarted just because people get too pushy.

2. On head hunters: who are the best headhunters to reach out to? Should I simply cold email or LinkedIn invite them?

Got to a modeling round for a PE Firm and it’s later today. Really like the people but not a big fan of the investment strategy. Wondering if withdrawing from the process right now would hurt my relationship with the HH’s?

I’m working with them for a few firms I’m way more interested in but aren’t kicking off for the next week or two. Should I just do the model test and withdraw, or would beforehand work as well? Any insight would be helpful

I’ve gradually moved on from ex-bf from 1y ago, but still to this day have this greatest fear that I’d crumble if and when I hear he is getting engaged or married to someone.

I wanted a life with him but he couldn’t see it with me (midway of our relationship) or with anyone before me. I do wish him to find his happiness.

It’s just that feelings of unworthy, unloveable, not chosen by someone you love so dearly continue to haunt me after all these times. Anyone has tips to get through this?

Bristol Myers Squibb. My boss is very noticeably corrupt. She picks her favorites and gives them opportunities she wouldn’t give anyone else, and lets them get away with anything. she picks some who she doesn’t like and makes up lies about them. Give them horrible reviews when they’re great workers. Punishes them for things that are lies or out of their control. She’s been anonymously reported to HR several times by multiple people and nothing has come of it. What can be done?Bristol Myers Squibb
