Need help to calculate the in hand salary

bonus letter received?
Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

What you're leaving out is the likelihood of getting a job in this climate that pays what you want. If you can get it right now yeah jump ship, but that's a big "if" imo
Take the sure thing. Don’t assume your company is going to do the right thing in unknown amount of time from now.
Needed to hear this. Thank you.
My company has been hiring and making internal movements despite everything being “frozen”, it’s been 3mo and they won’t even give me a timeline or put my promotion in writing. So I’ve started looking, I’ve had a surprising amount of traction in just the two weeks I’ve been replying to recruiters on LinkedIn.
Yeah I’ve quite a few recruiters reached out as well. Considering how most comms are now done on social/digital, there’s still demand.
I’m dealing with current situation right now, the company is doing their best to retain their employees but I have been in my current position for 2+ years with no compensation or promotion. So I’m actively looking to leave for the money and because I’m frustrated on how they are handling the situation currently.
I feel you. It’s hard to stay motivated when there’s no incentive to work hard. I’m going to update my CV and keep my options open. All the best to you!
Just had my yearly talk - mid-COVID in Europe. Talk was lovey but it all feels a bit... fake if there’s not a reward for all the good you’ve done. Nevertheless: will stay here because the job is fun. And the money will come later.... I guess.
Yeah, the management is doing their best to keep everyone’s spirits up even if they have to lie because they don’t have the answers either.
