Although Amazon has instituted a hiring freeze and layoffs are probably on their way, I went through the loop for a security engineer position at AWS. Before I attended the final interviews, Amazon placed the hiring freeze and called me to ask if I wanted to go ahead or cancel my application. I decided do go ahead Right now I'm waiting for their response and the position I applied to changed from "under consideration" to "no longer under consideration". Thoughts?

Prayer and walking with the Lord gave me clarity. I was unemployed and my start date kept being pushed.
I sang praises unto the Lord , this particular song called “I told the storm”. I sang it with all my passions and heartache. ( the lyrics commands the storm to pass)
God moved the storm pass me. I felt it be removed, he told me it was removed.
Know you have the power in Christ to know him and have the power to remove your storms. He’s with you while in them, too.
For your encouragement,
Deuteronomy 28 1-14
I read this several times a week and my days have been filled with blessings because he is blessing me to be a blessing.
Praise God for the trials.
No answer for when it will be over, but in the struggle with you, my brother/sister in Christ. Hold on to your faith and lean into prayer. Reading a Tim Keller book on suffering and have gleaned some helpful insights to help me take on the adversity and use it for spiritual growth. Still very tough but it is helping
Basis of prayer: “our father” sermon (on Spotify) by Tim Keller and the even if devotional book by daily grace are what I lean into. It’s a reminder that God is always God and that if we are rooted in Him all will be well.
We do not need any signs. God knew us before we were born.
I quit a job that most in consulting or finance would literally do anything to be in.
Then stressed (literally had anxiety) about finding a job for almost 6 months.
Applied to probably 500+ jobs, refreshing job boards daily, rewrote my resume 3x.
During this time, I leaned into my faith and my church was going through Exodus during this time.
I thought… Damn, is God is speaking to me through the promises to Moses?
And by His grace and power, He opened my eyes and ears because it brought me closer to Him by trusting in Him (despite my human anxiety still) and knowing that He will bring me a role when time is right.
Remember this, our jobs like our life belongs to God.
Praying for you.
