Best thing: the kids. Worst thing: their parents 😂.

Kids are definitely the best thing, with summer and winter breaks tied for 2nd place.
Parents, clueless admin, and clueless board members are tied for the worst.
Connecting with kiddos is the best. Laughing.
The worst is sitting through hours of meetings explaining how to proctor the ACT.
The ultimate worst is going to meetings about how to teach to the test!
Being a part of the student’s educational journey and seeing their progress, being reminded daily how to see the world through the eyes of young children, and their curiosity and wonder are the best parts. Best thing: teaching young minds for their future. Worse thing; Parents that think it's your fault when their child doesn't get good grades. Constant turn over of reading/math curriculum every few years and formal observations!!!
Best thing: teaching. Worst thing: the pay. You can make more working at a warehouse.
