Hi everyone!
Debating between an offer from 200 employee company vs Zoom (the company).
The smaller company has good benefits, great wlb and a great culture per Glassdoor reviews. But its an HR software and not easy to sell.
Compensation is similar.
Never worked in a big company like zoom before, what are the pros, and the drawbacks?

I think numerous studies have proven it doesn’t necessarily matter what time of day you work out both times of day are net positives.
Think it can get you in the right mindset for the day doing it early or be something to look forward to/a stress reliever at the end of the day. I alternate before or after work depending on what I think I need for the day.
Working out before work prioritizes your health, sets the mood for the rest of the day, and reduces the likelihood of coming up with excuses to not workout.
I think it depends on your energy levels , I tend to get tired and sleepy after a workout or a run so I prefer to do it in the evening so I can chill afterwards .
I usually do mornings, I feel more energized throughout the day
Cardio in the morning can always be good, even if it’s just a brisk walk it can wake you up and let your body know it’s time to get to work. Other than that, the time of day you workout does not matter too much. Working out after work may find you more energized due to more caloric intake throughout the day
Depends on your situation. I live in a crowded city where it’s warm in the summer, so I prefer morning runs to beat the heat and traffic. Best way to start the day too.
I would say its preference/priorities based on your fitness goals more than anything! (Do you prefer exerting most of your daily energy into running further/faster or doing more lifting exercises and more reps/heavier weights) you can't go wrong with either. Personally I like to run first, then lift in the afternoon.
Having ran through high school and college sports, I certainly prefer the morning. Morning also has certain benefits in regards to weight loss as well.
i have read online about that, but most research points to the time of day/working out on an empty or full stomach not having any difference relative to weight loss. Weight loss simply comes down to calories in vs calories out, not trying to sound rude i’m just a personal trainer, so some people can see weight loss benefits from working out in the morning on an empty stomach, but those are relatively small
I used to cycle commute about 30 mins before and after work, it was good both for my physical and psychological health.
I prefer evenings because I am not really a morning person so its already difficult to wake up and get ready for work lol! So evenings do the trick for me.. however I would agree that anytime of the day is fine

In the afternoons after meetings and before getting into the real work. Helps break up the day and I focus better in afternoons/evenings anyway
