If they still had other candidates to interview, yes. With summer ending, people at Deloitte that are involved in the process may be on PTO. If you haven’t been rejected yet, I wouldn’t worry too much…you’re likely still in the running but the other candidates still need to be interviewed.
My recruiting experience was awful. Very dysfunctional. I’d walk away.
This is very typical as they have to go through the rest of the candidates and then gather feedback on next set of interviews for remaining candidates. My turn around time was about a month after these two interviews. I would just follow up with the recruiter weekly to let them know you are still interested.
What are the next steps that follow? I was told there would be one more with a MD/Partner to assess culture fit. Also, is it common to be level set higher than the position I applied for? I applied for a senior consultant role but manager was brought up with my experience.
