My starting salary as a fresh grad is around $45k. I thought this is fair since I don't have any actual work experience.
I can give my breakdown through my career so far. Keep in mind NYC.
Year 1: Recruiting coordinator - 45k (mid-size fintech)
Year 2: recruiter - $45k+ commission (small staffing firm
Year 3: $55k + commission (same firm)
Year 4/5: $80k + commission (same firm, restructured comp)
Year 5/6: $135k + discretionary bonuses (same firm)
Year 7: $155k base (FAANG)
Year 8: 170k base (same)
Year 9: $205k base (same) with all in being $255k
Thank you! This is a really good break down
I make 75k here in GA. I work for an organiaztion of about 250 people. Not sure if that helps at all.
I make 50k at the moment working at a midsized organization. Hoping to make a good jump by switching to another role fairly soon!
i make 50k base and then there is a complex comission structure. i will make about 35-40 k in comission this year
I work for a large firm. I make 60k plus commission of course
