I have hit a threshold.
I’m 7 years in, don’t want to transition to a leadership position, and I’m burnt out from recruiting itself.
I’d thinking of moving to HR Analytics or Program Management.
I’m staying put for now considering the ongoing layoffs. Hoping to look at internal mobility next year.
12 years in recruiting, lots of successes. I feel the model is broken and one day companies will wake up.
I like that recruiting has made me dangerously conversant in many industries but feel it has done nothing for career growth beyond a paycheck.
I’ve been in agency for around 1 year and I think I’ve drunk enough of the kool aid. Yet going to internal seems scary as though it seems so unstable.
