Interviewing for Mck and BCG and the differences between their recruiters’ professionalism & helpfulness are vastly contrasting, one phenomenal and one disappointing. Y’all know which belonged where?

knows what the job entails exactly. I keep hearing about people "fooled" into taking a job in risk advisory thinking it'll really be advisory while they only end up doing IT and Audit support (which I do not want to do).
Is it the case here?

After completing my course from Google i started applying for data analyst job but I'm not getting any positive response as such. I am hearing that MBB is pausing majority of the interviews - should I be worried about my offer getting rescinded? I luckily got my offer a few months ago and received my signing bonus already.

As an junior UX designer, should I use the remaining months of this year to refine my portfolio as it seems there’s only rarely job postings for my level? I’ll apply when I feel it’s right regardless, but I’m wondering if more opportunities will come up late this year/early next year?

I have a set of virtual interviews that last from 9-5 with 8 different people. Why does that seem a little excessive to me? I understand that they want to make sure many people across different departments approve of me but it still seems like a lot.

Does MBB accept applications where you don’t have an undergrad?

HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.

Hi folks need help. I was given a retention bonus which I had to return. But my ex employer is not removing the returned part from my form 16 which means not only I have to return the whole amount but also pay tax for the retuned amount. Has anyone faces similar thing. What’s the grade structure at EY UK? And how many years expected at each?

When calculating YOE, if you are working 2 jobs, can you double count those years? For reference, I’ve been an Army Reserves officer for the last 5 years since coming off active duty, and spend about 30-40 hours per month (outside of 2-4 week annual training) on that job. So it’s not like driving Uber, it’s a high stress/very involved job. Technically I have 7 years Active Army + 5 years D + 5 Years reserves if I count them. Don’t know if there’s any practical reason just curious peoples opinion
