bonus letter received?
Any one familiar with comp for a Portfolio Associate roll at PIMCO on their mortgage backed securities team? I’m looking at an offer and want make sure I’m in line with the average comp for the company and industry. Only 4 months of experience and offer is 98k w/ 10-20% bonus plus 15k relo/ sign on. Looking at Glassdoor, bonuses seem higher than quoted by the hiring manager. (No written offer yet they say they’re still working on it)

Even if they offer 100% you shouldn't. Unless you can manage the entire project by yourself i would not suggest to join cts

As far as I have seen and got to know many projects are filled with freshers. seniors if present are lateral hires few with 300% hike. DMs assign random tasks/modules to associates irrespective of whether they have experience on that or not. PMs are like dummies, don't stay in one project and are being rotated with not much info on the current status of the project and of course 10hrs is what you need to maintain regularly which can extend. I suggest you get the details of the project your role and working hours before you join.
