Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

A bonus can be factored into the job search, sure. But it has to be weighed knowing that it may not be what one hopes for. I'm sure there are a lot of people who took an offer because they thought they'd clean up at bonus time only to be disappointed. Think about the bonus, just don't give it too much importance.
I've never really had a professional job that had a bonus. The only time I've ever even experienced a bonus was in retail when the entire store met our sales goal, everybody got an extra 3% for the month. I would say a bonus is not an important part of the job search for me at this point.
It's not important to me at all. I've gotten bonuses at most of the jobs I've held, but they've been so small that they're not worth taking into consideration when deciding whether or not to accept a job offer. I'm looking at total compensation, benefits, PTO, and a million other things before factoring in bonus potential.
Bonuses aren’t usually a thing in my field. But my last employer tried to use the opportunity to earn large bonuses as a reason to keep our salaries low. I signed up for this and every time I would hit a goal and get that bonus my manager would make the goal harder so I couldn’t get it again and he kept moving the goal post. So now I look at total compensation. And consider bonuses as extra instead of something I need to hit if I want to earn a living wage
It is part of my total comp calculation but I hate when some companies are so vague about it
