I’m currently a C2! Having a quarter life crisis on what to do next...😔
Are you me
1) Maybe, 100% dependent on what the startup looks for in its staff
2) No
3) Maybe, depends on the type of role you're looking for--if you're looking to pivot as an engineer, for example, it's pretty much worthless
Oh yea, it is more than useless, people might actually laugh at you
Agreed w the above. Had classmates that did 1 and 3 and it definitely significantly increased their earning potential (esp on 3). However, I never understood why people did an MBA to build a start up..
In my experience people have used it as two years off work to spend building their startup, with the added benefit of built-in networking/test market/advisory in the form of their classmates, and the fallback of the MBA should the startup not pan out
Agreed, not for your own business. Who are you trying to impress, yourself? 😂
No on all 3. But it does take networking or other accomplishments outside of MBA. Depends on your previous experience as well. Having a top MBA would be a shortcut but isn’t the only path.
