Idk if it’s industry specific (market research) or if the recruiters are just really hungry but every other day I’m getting LinkedIn messages about roles they desperately need to fill. I’ve been sharing them with others that I know are looking for AE roles. Is this a part of a larger trend that I am missing?

How do I go from SDR/BDR to being a Sales Engineer?

“Job hopper” and “quiet quitting” are all schemes made up by boomers to make you think everything is the employees fault. When in reality people are just getting out of bad situations. Older companies do whatever they can to pay you the least amount and get the max work out of you. Except our generation will just leave amid we’re being mistreated, not complain for 35 years making 50k and 0 advancement.

I left my job about a year ago to relocate, make sure it was the right decision and start a side business in the mean time. Now I’m actively looking for a new sales position, have tons of experience, but am struggling to even get a response from job apps. I am wondering if this is because of my employment gap? I don’t have my side business listed on my resume because I don’t feel like I have enough positive “stats” to report yet given it’s new. Any advice or recommendations?

Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule.
