I’m joining on the same day. My BGV is done and got confirmation from HR about the BGV completion.
Will HR call you and confirm on bgv completion???
My bgv is done with all “green” and “Meets company standards”. But the workday still shows as Background check.
Can someone pls shed some light on how long will it take to get updated in workday?
I am in the same boat currently. BGV started about a week ago. There was a request for additional information 2 days back, Still not sure when it will be completed. Is your BGV completed? If yes, how long did it take for you? Were there any hiccups?

For people who have already joined Amgen.
Need some inputs please help me out.
1. How are timings in amgen ? Are they strict 9 to 5 or can they be flexible.
2. How is work life balance.
3. Do they provide cab and food?

1. Flexible timings, but 4 days a week in office is mandatory. Have to provide PST hours overlap for a couple of hours. You are free to manage your login and logout timings accordingly on daily basis. But in total 9 hours are expected, no one is hard tracking it anywhere but as a sense of responsibility they expect it from you.
2. So far WLB is very good, excluding some specific days with extended overlap of PST hours have to be done. But it's manageable.
3. Cabs are provided for transport both ways.
