I have 7.3 years of IT experience and recently bagged a job offer from JPMC . They offered me 21 LPA CTC and the job role as 601 . Can anyone help me out to understand if the role is justified ? Should it be 601 or 602 as per my experience ? During the HR discussion I mentioned my relevant experience as 5.5 years . JPMorgan Chase

Well that adds up not in my favor!
Yup, if it wasn’t for the money no way in hell I’d be in client relations lol
IT, specifically managed services
I cracked 6 figures 4 years in - it definitely depends on job hopping imo, I wouldn’t be close to that without switching agencies even though I’ve gotten promoted consistently. I’m not in it for the money, I’d love to get out of it though.

I actually really like where I work… minus the salary. Ugh, thank you for sharing!

May I ask what industry you’re in?
I was at six figures my 2nd year in, but in health
I guess if you’re doing the cool stuff like cars and beer that might not pay
This depends on a lot of external macroeconomic factors I can’t easily comment on, but I would say it’s fine.
Getting into health at a six figure salary will still require some level of industry knowledge or a real good handle on client management
I think that there are definitely some people in it for the money but salaries depend on so m any different things that its hard to play the comparison game.
