Yes. That’s the best way to do it in my opinion.

Yes. I think most companies can sue you for conflict of interest. Better to stick with different industries

I wouldn’t be able to switch my brain like that so no

Yes. Financial Services for J1 and Higher Ed for J2.

Doing similar work for both companies, so techno speaking it’s the same “job” just different clients.

Much context switching, getting a bit tired. Thinking of switching to a new J1 and taking a breather from J2. So many opportunities open up when you’re not petrified of losing J1.

Yes! Always work in different industries. It makes avoiding legal trouble so much easier.

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

Hi,

I Got opportunity to give exam for PWC for 1-2 YOE Java Developer for Cyber Security. I can see rounds mentioned as Hirepro Test, Technical Interview and Partner round. Can anyone suggest what topics should i prepare for?TIA

I have a good belief to believe I, and others of my kind are being systemically discriminated against at work. There was a particular incident recently that affected me. I am the in house employment counsel for the company - and now feel like I am in a weird position. Can I file an EEO complaint against my client, or do they just get to do whatever they want to me? Obviously outside counsel would need to be hired, and a wall put up. Looking for info thanks.
