I have a good belief to believe I, and others of my kind are being systemically discriminated against at work. There was a particular incident recently that affected me. I am the in house employment counsel for the company - and now feel like I am in a weird position. Can I file an EEO complaint against my client, or do they just get to do whatever they want to me? How many times has an interviewer no-showed and the recruiter profusely apologizing on their behalf?
Happened to me with Mindtree recruiter, for an IoT leadership position where the interviewing VP chose to no show twice… after which I thanked the recruiter that I was impressed by their book of busi-ness and that it was intimidating to be thinking about the prospect of working for Mindtree… as I’m too incapable for those performance standards… 😂😂

I’m an SE who works 2 AE’s, and from looking at the market am on the bottom end of the pay scale. The company I work for has many different products/services (80+), so they wanted SEs to take on a local “SME” role in a specific area, to support other members of the team.

This role has ramped up quite a bit recently, and people have been coming to me for help with their deals (overviews, demos, POCs) which is increasing my workload.

How would you approach asking for more money here? Thanks!

I’ve been in my position with the Federal Government for over six years. I have never received a grade increase for the time that I was there, yet all of my reviews have been favorable down to me being able to receive monetary bonuses. Just recently I asked my supervisor why I haven’t I received a grade increase, she said my title doesn’t call for one. Any suggestions on how I should handle this matter? Thanks.

I interviewed for a CSAM position, I have 12 YOE in MGMT CON / PM work. Any idea of potential package offer / level process? I’m looking for 180K base.

Is it bad I am not extremely detailed oriented and often think wow has to be a way to automate this? Often times I need to just keep my head down and work but should I spend time improving processes?

Those numbers are definitely under reported.

Most firms talk about attorney wellness without much follow through.

Do your firms do anything to actually promote attorney mental health or support substance abuse problems?
