Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

It is not super common, but it is not unheard of. Public companies often have stock option plans for the employees and startups sometimes do it as well. PE backed companies sometimes do it as well, but usually only for very senior people.
Long story short, it happens, it is not very common.

Yes, it is. But nothing beats cash!
Yes, but avoid the trap of them being given in place of a reasonable salary. They should add to the salary package, not be partially in place of.
