Hi everyone, I am 4.9 years experienced , I joined Fractal 3 months ago as a data engineer, but still haven't got any project. Process is so slow that I have received only 4 to 5 project calls. I switched in hopes that will learn the new tech and tools. But now i am starting to forget even the one i knew. Should i go for change or wait a little more time as fractal is reputed in AI/ML? I have interview lined up with Impetus as for now. Would it be better choice?

Huron has close to 3,000. I’ve always thought of us as midsize.

Yes, depending on office and practice, there’s a fair share of them available.
Big 4 are also better than BCG for most roles outside core consulting. Avoid the software business whatever you do.

I don’t think there is a clear / unequivocal answer here. Depends on industry vertical, title, professional / personal priorities, etc. also depends on which Big 4 and which of its practices you’re benchmarking against.
Judging by the fact that most people tend to move from Huron and west Monroe to big 4 rather than other way around I’d say yeah.
I’m a campus hire so can’t speak from experience, so you’d probably need to talk to someone that did come from big 4, but from what I understand through conversation most people that make the switch are happier, enjoy a more employee-focused culture, have a bit more work/life balance etc. Now obviously that doesn’t go for everyone, and you can’t make everyone happy, but considering that WMP puts so much focus into their culture and employees I completely understand why they might be happier or less stressed out than where they were before. Not sure if it helped, but also I have friends that have gone to Big 4 out of college and after conversations with them I’m definitely happy where I am atm!
Usually - yes, but if you want more opportunity and think the firm is on a good trajectory, it sometimes takes the courage to go to a smaller, less ‘established’ firm.
