Is the office operational now?
I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Cooley without a doubt. ML’s transactional practices are lower middle market at best.
Completely depends on the practice and the market you're in. If you're talking ECVC, Cooley (and the other tech firms) are superior to every other firm. For example, if you want to go in-house to a tech company, you are exponentially more likely to do this from a firm like Cooley. If you want to do PE work, Cooley is not the right fit. Go to Chambers and compare practices in your city. These firms have over 1000 attorneys and many different practices. There is no straightforward analysis; there are many factors to determine which firm is best for you.

Depends a lot on market and practice. Folks above saying Cooley are maybe right in the aggregate but it doesn’t matter that much depending on where and what you’re practicing.
L&E and Lit - definitely Morgan Lewis. Also, that firm isn’t notorious for layoffs like Cooley, no?
