I have an offer with Capita plc for 22 LPA for 5 yoe.
It's complete WFH.
Tech stack is spring boot and microservices.
Is it a product based company or a service based company?

I have a possible opportunity at Protiviti. Coming from big4 and wondering if Protiviti has fairly similar perks. I’ve read the 2022 benefits guide and it gave a oddly low PTO count of 16 days. Is this true and what about a holiday disconnect in the December time period? Are there any other hidden perks that are awesome? Already heard WLB is better and the culture, but I feel like I’ve gotta find that out first hand. Protiviti

This time around it seems like website time is not being given as freely but comp is at least 3 months
Coach
Agreed - would have thought the same, but of friends I know let go (all midlevels of above), they’re given generous pay but getting very short website time.

In 2009, when there were official announced layoffs, there was no website time. Severance started at 3 months and then increased for people who had been at the firm longer than 3 years by an extra month per year at the firm beyond 3 up to 6 months. So someone at the firm for 4 years got 4 months; a relatively new employee got 3 months; and someone who had been at the firm 10 years got 6 months.

I mean, these were announced layoffs. That’s how all announced, large scale layoffs go.
Wsgr is 2 months comp.
No, not as far as I know.

Mine didn’t.

Would you mind sharing which firm it was?

It really depends on the circumstances of your departure. I don’t necessarily think there is any “standard” anymore. I’ve see a lot of variation over the years.

Mine did 3 months comp + website “until I got a new job” - thought that was fair
That’s nice based on my recent experience.
Not always.
Mine extended the website time 3 times for one month each. You can always ask.
