Hello - hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm looking into risk assurance opportunities at Meta, especially Application Manager, Controls (min 5 YOE) and Manager, Compliance (min 12 YOE). I am a Senior Manager with 9 years of IT risks assurance experience. Does anyone have any thought on which position I should apply? If anyone currently at Meta could share your experience, that would also help. If anyone is open to providing referrals, I could provide my background. Facebook (Meta)

Before we went just national, there was enterprise risk consulting and tech consulting. ER doesn’t do IT, we might tag risk on some of our engagements for more technical controls like access, but we don’t FAIT work nor are we required to do any FAIT training . i’ve mainly done SOX readiness. I’ve never done an IT project, and I’ve only ever done internal audit.
No... I know nothing about IT
I too need to escape
Me too
IA also does operational type audits which are fun
Let’s switch jobs!
It can be a mix. We do have solely Tech Auditors but also more and more of our audits are fully integrated. I’ve done operational audits that had tech scope sections.
I focus on engineering operations so I get to see all kinds of technical controls, capital budgeting and implementation, as well as complex business processes.
