Im looking at new job opportunities out side of PA but struggle to confidently answer how much I’m looking to be paid. I’m so worried of over asking or leaving money in the table.
I’m in a SoCal HCOL and have been asking for 100k for Senior Internal Audit Roles (2 years) and working on my CiSa.
Is that too optimistic?

Depends on how desperate you are, but I think you can aim a bit higher (120), at worse they say no.

Makes sense! I just get so wrapped up in my head about home much my work is worth lol

How many yoe do you have

I’m about a month away from 2 years, not including two Big 4 internships

I'd think you'd be worth closer to $120k(if not more)... depending on yoe, certs, how you interview

Hi , we are looking for a technology auditor (senior and manager levels) , role is in nyc metro area . Very good wlb and culture . Would you be interested in discussing further ?

Thanks for your response, but we are looking for candidates within the US thanks

100k is not too much. I have hired people with lesser credentials for as much and in a lower COL than California. Go higher!

Hi, we're searching for a job in HR for my wife. She's an MBA from India and has 10 years of work experiences across various HR roles in FMCG and Tech. Her last role was a HR BP and India site lead for a US based semiconductor major.
Is CIPD necessary to get a comparable role in the UK? While we undersrand it's a new market, would she necessarily need to start from a basic role again? It's difficult to balance studies, work and manage a 2 y.o. Any pointers or job openings would be appreciated.

The first rule of overemployment is dont talk about overemployment to anyone outside your house. :). Second: always protect the main job. Third: As the main job always has the priority, the Second and third jobs must preferably be contract gigs with not too many meetings everyday. Remember: another day, another dollar.

Been in a regional public accounting firm - risk advisory/internal audit for 4ish years now. I like the work but the pay is terrible. I see seniors making a whole lot more than me. Feel like I'm overworked and massively underpaid. Thinking of switching jobs, but still debating on whether to stay in public accounting or move to industry. Any advice/thoughts?
