H-1B Second Round Lottery for the 2022 Fiscal Year
In the upcoming fiscal year of 2022, the USCIS has made calculations on the number of H-1B visas to offer to randomly selected applicants based on acceptances, rejections, and revocations provided for previous years. The initial lottery selection for the H-1B registrants was provided for in March 2021.

No. It’s only necessary if the firm has one (1) or more clients.
Yes. Because ethics, you know.
Yes. If you have done any legal work for a client, then you have to do a conflicts check.
If you are at a medium to big firm, yes. If you are at a small firm/solo, the process should only take two seconds. Better be safe than sorry.

I’m going from big law to in house and haven’t been asked to do conflicts check… not sure if it has to do with it being in house
If you have to ask this question, please take an ethics refresher! I know this solidly and I'm not a lawyer.
