Is it good to compare yourself in terms of peers ?

I keep looking at my LinkedIn networks in terms of what their pedigree is, where they are in life after how much work ex and keep comparing. But this is not healthy because you will always find lots of profiles who are doing better than you.

You can benchmark yourself whenever it is forced upon you once in a while like some friends talking over who is doing what but don't be sitting alone and compare yourself. It will take the joy out of life
