Know two people who made that jump - one was a Director of Analytics and landed at Bain, another in Corp Comms and ended up at McKinsey. Definitely on the rarer side, but not impossible!
I jumped from an ad agency to Big4 about 5 years ago. My suggestions to make it happen:
1. Network the heck out of Big4 and find an advocate. Experienced hires usually come from referrals OR other consulting.
2. Look at the job description and redo your resume to match it. I know that sounds like a no brainer and / or something you can do with ChatGPT, but I found that the organizations were structured very VERY differently and I needed to basically rewrite all my experience to go from an account support based role (that included PM, client relationships, managing teams, refining work products for client consumption) to a strategy role (that did include a lot of my experience, but in a deliverable focus).
3. Understand that titles are different and while you SHOULD get paid more on Day 1 (I had a 50% pay increase), you may feel like you are taking a step back in titles. Big4 only goes (for the most part): staff, senior consultant, manager, senior manager, and then PPMD. I came over with about 10 years of experience and was hell bent on coming in as an SM but they only gave me Manager and now being an SM, I know I never would have succeeded coming in as an SM.
Other than that, good luck! The economy is tough right now all over the place, so if it doesn’t happen right away, keep trying!

Same. There are consultancies that just trade in Salesforce implementation.
But I thought everyone loves Tinuiti (despite dumb name)? Can you share why you’re thinking of jumping?
If you want more insight Tinuiti’s Glassdoor will have a lot more info! Personally though, they brought in a director of insights and he is just awful. A seagull manager through and through. Pair that with ongoing re-orgs and understaffing issues (that are plaguing most agencies at the moment I’m sure) just creates a whole terrible atmosphere. I can deal with the grind of lack of staff but no having my own director to back me up is where I just can’t sit still anymore
Slalom is the firm that does SF consulting. Couldn’t remember the name a moment ago!
