Is it stupid if I want to pivot my career outside of the software development field ( coming 7 years of experience), and go into something like IT help desk.

I've been coming out of a stump from a bad performance review and a harsh client interview last month, and from that I have been having this nagging feeling that I'm actually hitting a limit in the company or field.
I'm not quite sure what I should do as most of my co works just give me a regular response of “ just chill “

Hello all, I am a production manager for a sign design and manufacturing company. I have been with the company for six years now starting as lead graphic designer working my way to the production manager. since becoming the production manager two years ago I am responsible for 4 large format printers and 1 vinyl plotter. I have an offer for a company abroad. Originally they wanted me to fly out and start the day after Thanksgiving (not celebrated in their country), but because of the holidays I suggested starting in either December or January with the ability to take some holiday days in December to fly back home for Christmas.
