There's nothing called development in ZS. Just fancy glorified excel creation and mock ups.
S+1
Hey OP, WLB is a serious concern in some of the projects, and the overall expectation is to be always on your toes. Work hours do get stretched a lot, if you have a supporting team it can be managed. It really depends on you to check if you are okay having your personal life gets a back seat.
My personal experience:
Working from 11am to 1~ 2 at night on everyday basis. Yes, I have lost sense of life outside of my work.
Yet i continue to work here because i am getting interesting projects and a lot to learn. Beside the monetary benefits which I feel is really a good deal here, i am focusing on building an impactful resume in short time.
I believe if you feel comfortable staying here for long, you might not regret. Growth is quick and high paying. Meanwhile, if at some point you want to switch, you will have gained a good adaptability to stressful conditions, and (if you get good projects) a lot of skills and experience in short time.
In case you're joining ZS as a software engineer and not as a BT, I've serious doubts on the nature of work. Development is not ZS' core business expertise. WLB for software engineers could be slightly better than the business teams though
