Bain & Company I have a second round with Bain & Company coming up at the DC office for Experienced Consultant role. Excited, but hella nervous. Recruiter said it’d be 3 separate interviews, all with Partners; 2 case, 1 fit. About 40 mins each. First round was 2 case interviews with Sr. manager & Associate Partner. Been a rough year, so definitely looking forward to this opportunity. I’ve been on the site and going through preparation and materials. Any advice or suggestions welcomed!

I don't think it is too much. And, one recommendation I've seen from some job hunting resources is to skip the HR people and go right to the Hiring Manager.
Pro
+1 prioritize the hiring manager. If they find your background compelling they will forward your profile to recruiter who will mostly likely get you into the process faster.
I don't see why not, as long as you don't bombard them with follow-ups. It shows you're eager, and who knows which one will be more likely to take notice? I say go for it.
It might be overkill, especially if the recruiter contacts the hiring manager about the same thing you just contacted them both about.
Hiring manager.... but I would hesitate. As one myself right now, it seems overeager, especially since it a candidate's market right now (at least for engineering positions).
However, if we had a mutual friend/colleague/acquaintance, contact from that person on your behalf would be positive.
I think it feels a bit overeager too tbh...I suppose it depends on what you're writing to them?
