Agency recruiters: do you participate in kick-off meetings with hiring managers?

My company thinks that’s not scalable for us to be in those calls. But I find it hard to speak enthusiastically about a job to candidates I interview when I never got to even hear the founders speaking about it themselves.

We have now agreed that I’ll get to see the recording of those calls. I’m not sure if that will suffice, though. Any thoughts on this?

Got offered 83k to start as an analyst for Deloitte’s controllership advisory position. Coming from one year. Of audit experience from pwc. Should I accept this pay from Deloitte? I hear A1’s in pwc advisory make 84k and A2’s make 95k. I feel used and undersold.

I’m struggling coming up with a new title. I am acute care nurse for a statewide health system. I moved up the ranks in nursing, but function on the business side now. Current Title- Strategic Analyst. I report directly to a corporate VP. I analyze profitability, make recommendations on growth and new procedure ideas, prepare proforma’s, run a surgeon gain-sharing program, Leading a $10M system savings project. What would your org call me?

First few weeks at my role: I tend to be very nervous prior to meetings, hence I haven't been putting up my best performance (although the team has been saying I am doing great). I just have so much to learn in order to be up to speed and it's stressing me out. Any advice on taking it easy and enjoying my life?

Is it me or does it seem like companies are hiring but not really hiring? For example, you wasted all of that time going through the interview process, completed it, and then they’re putting the position on hold or you had a great interview, they tell you had a great interview, the interviews like you, you had a great answers but they didn’t select you due to “business needs/growth/direction of the company.”
