Is the 14-month probationary period really a thing for DOJ hires? If you’ve received your final security clearance and are well into the job, are you still really on probation / there’s really a 14-month mark in the sand?

Unfortunately, he didn’t have any more specific information other than what I would be doing is “generally commercial litigation.” Can anyone share insights on what this may entail?
