Hello! I’m currently a Administrative assistant now working at a major medical system in Baltimore. I’ve previously worked for 10 years as a medical assistant in a variety of specialties and primary care. Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit stuck as to my next step. Part of me want to go into management, another part is saying go get your RN, and the other is saying go into Social Work. I’m all over the place. Any ideas? And how would I be able to cross over to management?

Question! I just moved(transferred) to another team of my company and received new title, graphic & creative services. I was a senior graphic designer at the previous team. What do you think about my new title? I know that title is not a big thing but why I feel like my title is downgraded here… Good thing is my jobs here at my current team are what I really wanted to do. This is amazing. UPDATE (RE: SoCal Assistant Controller Interview)

So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.

Not sure if Im hired or not, but are there any questions about the job, comp (cont.)
