I left this year. Had no problem finding opps that pay >$200k. I was targeting internal strategy roles and the vast majority of the teams were comprised of ex-MBB. Other than some pride for their specific company, they didn't seem to think there's much difference between camdidates from MBB/S&/OW.

Sure. Go ahead.

Lots of recruiters mention S& on their messages so i know that recruiters who specialize in consultants’ exits recognize the brand. Among F500 HR probably not as much.
If you look up S& alums on LinkedIn you will see half of them put “formerly Booz&Co”… this will be recognizable to a lot more people among senior leadership
I used to be in Strategy& and I just put PwC on my resume cause no one know who Strategy& was. (I also left as a manager)

Strategy&, Part of the PwC network (formerly Booz&Co)
Love when I see that on LinkedIn☝️🤣

Find this hard to believe S& is a top top top consulting shop. For people in the know I.e. half the hiring managers in industry who do corporate strategy, there is no way they do not know what S& is
Not sure what’s your expertise/industry background, assuming strat/Ops/M&A/digital, or even implementation. In any case, you need to work with the right recruiters then. I have 5 YOE I’m getting calls for roles at other T2, boutiques and PE Ops/PortCo for $200k+
Ok re did my LinkedIn and getting a lot more hits. Good comp as well.

Tell me more, lol. What does it now say? DM me?

It could be OPs industry? Are you in a low paying industry? If so probably could brand yourself as a strategy generalist and apply into higher pay industries
Really depends on who the hiring manager is. If they’re an ex strategy consultant they likely know it.
When I have candidates interview with other departments though, the name carries little weight unless you add PWC and then people know.
On the real, do you put PwC or PricewaterhouseCoopers? I currently have PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP: Strategy& as the employer.
Maybe it’s my young opinion, but doesn’t everyone recognize PwC? I recognized the name when I was in high school. Does it need to be spelled out?
I have Strategy&, party of the PwC Network on my resume. Maybe that’s it? Should I put PwC Strategy& first?

Maybe they think you'll not take the role seriously and just party too much.

I don’t think it’s the brand. The brand is strong
Not sure what is happening. I am not getting a lot of recruiters reaching out to me except for positions that are under $200k in total comp.
I also have an M7 MBA.
I don’t have a ton of information about my roles on my LinkedIn profile. Maybe that’s it?
