How does one go about making the jump from B4 to MBB

Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?

Any tips for building a client base from scratch? I’m a 4th year associate at a firm of 12 attorneys. I practice in business, compliance, and real estate (primarily on partners’ files) and don’t litigate. Most of the partners’ clients are wealthy friends or friends of friends (not my circle). Associates are not referred business, even cold calls, and so far “networking” events like Chamber of Commerce luncheons have been a bust. I equate a book to autonomy and career choice and pressure is on.

Anybody work with Federal Advisory Partners? I have a potential opportunity with them and am wondering if it’s worth making the move from government. Thanks!

I interviewed for a job in a diff location and during interviews they asked me multiple times how I felt abt relocating. I said it was fine, but the more I think about it the less I’m open to relocating. I now have an offer from them, is there anyway to negotiate no relocation? They are remote until mid year 2021. On my W2 federal wages are the same as NY state wages, how do I track down my New York w2 wages without access to my detailed timesheets? Can I just subtract my total wages from the state wages from my W2 of the other states I’ve worked in?
