In 6 years , you are already earning 180k?
That’s awesome. What’s your current responsibilities?
Thank you but industry increases are only 1-2% which is why I’m looking for more growth. I do a lot of admin work for the CIO but also manage strategic and technical projects

Let's trade jobs!
But to be serious, we probably need more information. What are your goals? What do you do now? What do you want to do in the future?
I feel a little lost because I’m more of a tech generalist and have been using mostly soft skills. That’s why I think an MBA could help me find more direction on what I can do and see more of what’s out there. Ultimate dream is to either found a startup or my own events planning business
Can you elaborate on your current role? Your responsibilities, skill set required to land it, and how you found it? That’s a dream come true for me.
As for your question, I don’t think an MBA will provide much value to you in terms of compensation, and given your prior experience with b4 I don’t imagine you’ll have too much difficulty moving back into consulting, so it doesn’t seem like the network component of an MBA would be worthwhile
Thanks for sharing! And take my perspective with a grain of salt, I’m 3 years out of school. I’ve done a lot of grad school research tho, and In response to one of your comments, I think it’s important to leverage an mba into the career trajectory you want, rather than use it to determine WHAT career trajectory you want
