Looking for referrals to Facebook (Meta) if anyone can help me out! I applied for their Associate General Counsel (Commercial) role and I am coming from a publicly traded company where I have been the Regional Counsel. 10 years experience in-house, 5+ doing commercial contracts. If you’re willing to refer me please DM me and we can work something out! Thank you!

Short answer is nope. Longer answer is maybe, but only if you can avoid the hell of adjunct faculty positions and get on a tenure track, which is hard and getting harder by the day -- and even then you're not going to be making anything like the income you could in professional practice. The trade-off is a more relaxed work life balance, and the chance, depending on the institution, that you might be able to get access to a defined-benefit pension plan instead of or in addition to a 401(k).
