Is there anyone here who have had a luck of getting top-secret clearance? I have a couple of friends who have those government contracting jobs that require clearance and they 125k right out of college and do absolutely nothing.

They told me all these government jobs are like this and no one works at the gov, and gov has a ton of money. Has anyone had a look of getting these kind of jobs even if it meant for switching careers?

I am a traditional reservist so I never really used military benefits before, but could use advice here.

I am currently renting and my lease is not up until October 2021, however I found a good deal on a home and scheduled to close in June 2021.

My landlord will not work with me to end the lease early, so it looks like I will have to double up on rent and mortgage through the summer.

If I went on active duty orders, can I use those orders to break my lease early without penalty?

I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?
